All waste tires in Florida must be processed or disposed of at a waste tire processing facility or a DEP-permitted solid waste facility — you may move up to 25 waste tires yourself; past that you have to be a registered waste tire collector. Read from Florida DEP · checked 2026-08-19
The burial or open burning of waste tires is strictly prohibited (Iowa DNR).
If you allow tires to be removed from your location by someone other than a registered collector, you remain responsible for those tires — if they are illegally dumped, you can be fined or required to clean up the disposal site (Florida DEP).
